A story around the painter Andrew Wyeth’s universe in his hometown, Chadds Ford (PA). Coexisting alongside these people and places allowed the photographer to obtain a new perspective on the artist, while also creating her own, intimate mood in the scenes depicted. The photographs thus offer a vision of Wyeth’s output as well as a variation on it, given that both the everyday lived by these two artists and the secrets that they reveal in their works are different. The work is also a deep reflection on rural America and its heritage. Originally commissioned by the National Thyssen -Bornemisza Museum.
